Article Marketing - How Much Is Too Much?

That is an odd question. It is kind of like asking How much money is too much money? In a nutshell the answer is you can never write too many articles.

In the business of Article Marketing every article that you write means money. It would only make sense that the more articles you can create the more money you can make. The key to succeeding in Article Marketing is writing. You must write today, tomorrow and continue to write every day after that.

When you begin your article writing career it can seem a bit daunting, especially if you are someone who is not used to sitting at your computer for hours per day. I had been a jock in high school and never took any real creative writing or journalism related courses so the thought of having to write articles every day seems overwhelming. Once I decided that I was going to write every day I got used to it and it got easier. I am sure it will be the same for you.

To be one hundred percent honest, there is no such thing as too much when it comes to writing articles. The key to Article Marketing is writing. The more articles you write and get out there then the more traffic will be directed to your website. Of course more traffic is directly related to more profit.

How many articles are you writing per day now? If you want to driver traffic to your website and grow your business you need to write more. How many articles you are writing per day really does not matter. My point is, no matter how many you write, when you think you are done for the day, you should write more.

How much is too much? This isnt a question that you should be asking. The question that you should be asking is, How much money do I want to make? Articles equal traffic and we all know that traffic equal profit. If you are not generating the cash flow that you want or need then you are not spending enough time writing articles.

Article Marketing Secrets - How To Write An Ebook Every Single Week With Your Articles?

If you wrote and submitted more than ten articles, then you have what it takes to write a short ebook on your topic and offer it to your list. All you need to do is to download the free open office suite and write in their word processor tool called writer.

With open office, you can create your own pdf for free.

Then, you need to quickly create an outline for your articles and this shouldn't take you more than thirty minutes. It's good to work with a timer to boost your productivity and avoid procrastination.

Here is how to do it step by step. Do not over complicate the process.

1. Open your old articles and add them in a text file.

2. Read all your articles and think about an outline for your book

3. Write the main subject of your ebook on a piece of paper.

4. Under this subject, write other sub-topics

5. Under each topic, quickly add some bullet points

Warning: at this point, a lot of ideas will come through your head, but don't get distracted. Write down these ideas for later.

6. Now that you have your outline which is basically your table of content, take the paragraphs from your articles and add them in the blank, add some "flow" sentences, and your ebook is almost ready.

This report will integrate perfectly into your article marketing strategy because you will link to it via your resource box.

This is a relatively simple way to create short report every single month. When you have several reports, you can write a full book that you sell at Amazon.

What do you think about this plan? I wrote several ebooks using this method. Some are free and some of them or paid ebooks. It's another way to profit from your articles.

The point of writing an article for any affiliate marketer, Google Adsense earner, blogger, or anybody else that does not just do it for joy is to get people to read your article and click through to your website in the resource box. So how do you get more people to see your article and click through to your website? Here are 3 article writing secrets that will get you more traffic.

The first secret to writing articles for traffic is to get listed in the top search engines like Google, MSN, and Yahoo!. This is not as hard to do as it might sound. You need to target keywords that get searched for every month, but don't have a ton of competition. This will give you a good chance to get listed on the front page of the major search engines. Imagine if you had 50 articles that were getting you 50 visitors each every week. That would be 2500 visitors each week.

The second article writing secret is very simple and will help you get listed even easier on the top search engines. When you are doing your search engine optimization, which would be using your keyword enough that the search engines find you relevant on the subject, use your keyword phrase twice in the title. This will get you better results with Google for sure. It is harder to tell whether Yahoo! or MSN like this, but they always seem to follow Google's lead so it is a safe bet.

The last secret that will help you write better articles for traffic is to leave your readers wanting more. When you give your readers some information, but you leave them wanting more, then there is a better chance that they will read your entire article and click through to your website. You should always leave your readers wanting more tips, secrets, or information about the subject.

SEO Article Writing 101 - Write Your Own SEO Articles Easily!

There are literally hundreds of millions of individual websites that compose cyberspace. Successfully honed article writing and submission techniques can propel your website to new levels of prosperity. While the masses are paying heavily for pay-per-click advertising campaigns, those writing and submitting articles are generating free natural listings on Google, Yahoo and MSN.

Imagine showing up for free on the first page of Google's natural listings for your targeted niche. On the right side of the page, you can witness all of the paid advertisers. Search engine optimization (SEO) takes on many forms. The common goal lies in delivering hot, targeted traffic that's ready to spend cash directly to your website. You want more than visitors; you want their money. Writing articles based on well-researched keyword phrases can deliver that.

So, how does one get these hot-to-spend visitors to check out their sites? It goes something like this:

- You research viable markets and choose one that you would like to promote. These can be products, services, affiliate programs, informational products, auction sites or any other number of possibilities. Your choices should be based on whatever you feel a passion for marketing. Everyone is an expert at something. Bring your expertise to the spotlight. Write articles that grant visitors valid and fresh information.

- You develop long-tailed keywords to zoom in on hot buyers. Long-tailed keywords are topics for your articles. They are designed to focus in on consumers who are hungry for specific information. A general keyword might be "dog training" or "making sausages". These general keywords may draw a lot of visitors, but they are not targeted enough to produce sales. A long-tailed keyword phrase might be "training your dog to stop barking" or "making beer-soaked sausages in Ireland". The latter will bring buyers who have honed in on their desires. They know what they want.

- You write articles that provide specific information that your visitors are seeking. Your long-tailed keyword phrases ensure that. You submit these articles to submission sites like ezinearticles, goarticles, articledashboard and others. You provide links to your websites or your merchant's websites.

- Visitors come to you for information and instruction. You provide that for them in neat packages simultaneously subjecting them to your advertisements. You entice them by teaching them. You share your expertise with them. The result is fewer visitors yielding greater sales.

So, how do you actually write the articles? You're not a writer. You haven't written anything since high school. Wrong! You can write articles. It's really easy if you follow a few simple steps. Try this:

1) Develop your title from the long-term keyword phrase. Include it directly within the title. You could call it "Make Better Beer Sausages in Ireland: Irish Beer Sausage Recipes".

2) Use your keyword phrase in the either the first sentence or the second of the first paragraph. Tell your reader what you are going to tell them in the article.

3) Write paragraphs two, three and maybe four. Don't overuse the keyword phrase. Use it only once per paragraph. Make these paragraphs informative, easy-reading and conversational. Simply act like you are speaking with your readers in person. Imagine what you would say to them and then just write it down. Use these paragraphs to tell them what you told them that you were going to tell them!

4) Write a finalizing paragraph telling them what you just told them. Work the long-tailed keyword phrase in one more time here. In general, for an article of around 400 - 500 words, you shouldn't use your keyword phrase anymore than six or seven times. Doing so can make the search engines label you as a spammer.

5) Always make sure that you use a spell checker. Also, display proper grammar and sentence structure.

6) If it's not against the writer's guidelines for the given submission site, include your information in the "Author's Bio" following your article. Here is where you can include your link to your personal, business or merchant's website.

7) Continue to submit articles that you write and link them all together. Include the link to one on all the others and vice versa. Soon you will develop a following of readers that hunger for your informative prose. When they come to feed, you have their attention for your own marketing campaigns.

The goal here again is to position you in the first pages of natural listings on the major search engines. With a little discipline, you can and will develop the skills necessary to gain these spots for free. It is a great feeling to see your sites beating out all of the paid exposure sites. It may take a little work and time, but it can save you literally thousands of dollars in advertising.

Writing articles can be fun. It also advances you along the road to becoming a true expert in your given niche. Start writing and submitting articles today for the world to learn from. Share your expertise!

Internet Marketing Articles - Do U Want Your Articles to Go Viral? Here Are Two Things to Consider

Article marketing continues to be one of the most effective ways to drive targeted traffic to your landing page of choice. Of all the things people can read on the Internet, if someone chooses your article, and then makes a second choice to click on your link to learn more, they are about the best you can hope for when it comes to finding targeted traffic.

Now if you take this effect and you can multiply it, you will receive compounded returns on your investment. This happens when your articles are copied and used on other sites, or are published in ezines. This is sometimes referred to as the viral effect. This is one of the things that you hope will happen to your articles when you publish them on article directories.

There are two things you may want to consider when trying to achieve this desired effect. One: does what you're distributing really have significant value to a large group of people? If the answer is no, you are not going to see the results that some of the legends of the Internet have achieved using this method. An example might be Mozilla Firefox or Netscape.

The second thing you have to consider as it relates specifically to article marketing is: do your articles meet some of the minimum specifications that are usually required by publishers that reuse articles? Let's use this article as an example. This article is good for distribution to article directories, and will be used by a few people, but it simply is not a good candid for getting picked up by ezine publishers.

When an ezine publisher is looking for a feature article, one of the things they are looking for is something that is very well written with some significant substantive information. If it is well written with little or no fluff or hype, they would like this to be between 800 and 1500 words long. That means, even if this article was written perfectly, which I don't expect it is, it will not even be considered by most major ezine publishers.

What you should learn from this is that a significant viral reaction to your work is not going to happen by accident. I admit it is very hard to predict when it will. But, I can assure you that if certain minimum requirements aren't met, you can be sure you are not even in the running. This all relates to knowing what your goal for this particular article is before you write it.

Clear Your Mind, and Your Profits Will Soar!

It amazes me to see the conditions that some people work in. Although this is internet marketing, and you can literally work wherever you want, you need to start taking it seriously to start making some real money online. That seriousness needs to first start with your workspace. Get neat and clean with your workspace, and watch your profits start to grow.

Example:

I had a friend (John) that started to sell ebooks online. He would always complain to me... "I can never get anything done." "It takes me so long to make my web pages." "I get too distracted to work" ... etc.

I visited him at his house one day to find him "working" from the couch. He was hunched over, working on his laptop with a box of pizza and a beer next to him. He had his TV on, and was trying hard to finish a site design.

I asked him if he worked like that all the time... and he said "Yes"

I said to him... "Just the way your sitting would drive me crazy. How can you stand to be hunched over like that for any amount of time?"

Now to make a long story short... he now has his own work area. He still does work in front of the TV every now and then... but he has started to take his business a little more serious. And he also makes a lot more money online!

I know... having a clean workspace is not the only thing that matters for success online... but it helps. I also know that many of you "work" very similar to my friend John. So, do yourself a favor, and get serious about your business.

Remove some of the clutter from your desk... or buy a desk if you have been working from the kitchen table. I am not saying that you can never work from the kitchen table, or relax on the couch while checking your email, but you must have some sort of permanent space.

If you have an extra room, turn it into an office. If you don't have an extra room, clear some space in the corner of your den, or make some extra room in your living room, something. You need to have a space that is yours. Somewhere that you go to work, and nothing else.

You see, it wasn't the fact that John was working from the couch that hindered his success. It was the fact that he also did other things on the couch like watch TV, eat, sleep, etc. He could never get serious when he started to "work" because so many other things were related to sitting on the couch.

My example:

When I started online... I worked from the kitchen table. I also ate at the kitchen table, as well as did my home work and studied there too. It seemed like I could never get anywhere with my online business.

And again... to make a long story short... I now have one room in my house that is SOLELY dedicated to my office. The ONLY thing I do in here is work.

I have a place to go to get serious. When I want to watch TV, I go in the living room. When I want to eat, I go to the dining room, and when I want to work, I go to my office.

So please, find your space to work. Get serious about your business, and things will start to change. It takes time, but what better time to start than right now!

Article Marketing - Article Marketing Tips for Newbies

Article marketing is one of the absolute basics of internet marketing. Having articles all over the internet is a marketing method which enables you to invest some time and effort right now and reap the benefits for years to come. This article will explore some of the advantages of article marketing and its subtleties in order to help internet marketers to use it to their best advantage.

Anyone who's been doing internet marketing for a while knows that writing articles is imperative to the success of one's online campaigns. Having articles in various article directories is a great way of providing links back to your site, thus building your site's popularity. When a page has many links back to it it helps to attain good positioning in the search engines. An article directory which has a high page rank is the best place to submit articles to as this helps to boost your page's rank.

Bear in mind that people take articles they enjoy and publish them in their ezines and on their websites, further providing you, the author, with more back links and publicity.

When you have articles of your own posted in article directories you can slowly establish your name as an expert in your niche. People will be more apt to trust your recommendations.

Although it may be tempting to write a bunch of articles in one day and submit them to a few directories, exercise caution with this. Why is that? Because Google is quite sensitive about a sudden surge in traffic to a link. Although we would all love a sudden surge in traffic, it may cause Google to de-index your site in order to look in to the reason for the sudden popularity of your site. It's better to submit articles every couple of days.

In the process of article marketing, don't submit an article that is already on your own website. It may be considered duplicate content and you don't want that! Google would consider the site which is higher ranking to be the originator of the article (the article directory) and your site's page rank may suffer.

Don't submit PLR articles without making changes!! There is so much PLR available today (free and otherwise) and it is very tempting to just grab it and use it. Don't do it. The purpose of these articles is to provide you with a basis for an article. Read it and rewrite it in your own words. Duplicate articles could be rejected by the article directories and the directories may just decide to ban your account.

Try to use good keywords in your article's title and also in the beginning of the first paragraph. Sprinkle your chosen keyword all over the article as well.

Most article directories allow you to use hyperlinks. For sophisticated and efficient article marketing try to use anchor text that relates to the keywords you are targeting. This will help you attain a better position in the SERP's (search engine result pages). If you are targeting the word "gardening tips" make sure to hyperlink to your website from each mention of the term in your article. This will help your gardening site be higher in the search results for the term "gardening tips".

Try to remember that people will be reading your article. Make it readable for them and don't just concentrate on the density of your keywords. If people don't enjoy reading the article, they won't bother reaching the end of it, which is where you will lead them to your site from the ever-important resource box!

In summary, article marketing is a very important, even critical, element of internet marketing. Every internet marketer should be making the effort to become proficient in article marketing and learning how to write decent quality articles in as little time as possible. It will bring in terrific long term results.

Happy writing!
